Camtasia for Mac has been my video editor of choice for the past couple years! I like it SO much better than iMovie or any of the other alternatives; and i'm not advanced enough to be using things like Final Cut Pro & the like.i've always wished for more features than what it's had & when version 2.9 came out, i was excited hoping it would run better being 64 bit now - but instead, it feels. Camtasia for Mac is an great off shoot of Camtasia Studio, developed exclusively for Macintosh for recording and editing videos filmed from your desktop, either in full screen or a defined space such as a webcam display. Camstasia lets you record videos specifying the source of the sound and even active the webcam if needed. Camtasia 2 for Mac is available in the Budig Instruction Lab (10 Budig Hall) and the Media Production Studio (10 Budig Hall). Purchase: Faculty and staff can work with their campus technology staff and KU Procurement to purchase Camtasia for KU-owned workstations.
